The Schoolcraft County All Vets is proud to announce our plans to bring the Vietnam Moving Memorial
Dear Friend,
In order to accomplish this - our organization is seeking donations to cover the cost of the “Moving Wall” visit, our goal is to raise $12 thousand, with any remaining funds to be directed to the future (new) Schoolcraft County Veterans Memorial.
Wall to the Manistique Marina, August 10-14, 2023.
“The Moving Wall” is 252 feet long - half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam Veterans
Schoolcraft County and the entire Upper Peninsula is home to many Vietnam Veterans, join us by honor- ing their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to duty and country. Donations can be dropped off at the VFW or mailed to the Schoolcraft County All Vets, 344 N. Maple, Manistique, MI 49854
Memorial, and has been touring the country for close to 40 years.
Currently there are 59, 239 names inscribed on the wall in honor of the men and women of the armed forces who gave their lives in the Vietnam War - the names inscribed are in the order they were taken from us.
