near Newberry and Paradise, Tahquamenon Falls State Park is the second largest state park in Michigan. Most of the 500,000 annual visitors come to this 45,000-acre wilderness gem to see two of Michigan’s most beautiful waterfalls.

The Upper Falls, one of the largest water- falls east of the Mississippi has a drop of nearly 50 feet, more than 200 feet across and a water flow of more than 50,000 gallons per second.
