The Upper Penninsula is enjoying an increased amount of snow than in past years. Because of this, all trails throughout the area are groomed and in excellent condition. The City of manistique now has a designated Trail Head. To access it, from US-2 turn onto M-94, go to Houghton Ave, North on Houghton to Center Street, East on Center two blocks to Alger Ave, North on alger 1 block to Intake park Road, follow that to the City Water Plant. Go to the East side of the water plant for parking. Enjoy yourself while visiting the Manistique Area.
